Angina trachealis

Angina trachealis, more commonly known as croup, is an infection that mainly affects children. It typically arises from a viral infection of the larynx, trachea, and the bronchial tubes. It is associated with mild upper respiratory symptoms such as a runny nose and a harsh barking cough. It usually produces mild to moderate symptoms, but in some severe cases, breathing treatments or hospitalization may be required.
