Agranulocytosis, infantile genetic

Infantile genetic agranulocytosis is a severe congenital disease where there is an absence of neutrophils in the blood. Neutrophils are a type of white blood cell that are important for fighting infections Children born with infantile genetic agronulocytosis suffer from frequent infections and most patients die of an infection before the age of 3. This disease is also known as severe congenital neutropenia (SCN) and Kostmann's syndrome.
