Agranulocytosis

Agranulocytosis is a disease where there is a decrease in the number of infection-fighting white blood cells (granulocytes). People with this condition are at very high risk of serious infections due to their suppressed immune system.  Agranulocytosis results in requent chronic bacterial infections of the skin, lungs, and throat. It is also known as Agranulosis or Granulopenia.
