Acrocephalosyndactyly

Acrocephalosyndactyly is a congenital disorder that causes abnormalities to the face, skull, hands and feet. The skull sutures close prematurely, leaving a peaked-head formation and the toes and/or fingers are often webbed. Type 1 of this disorder is called Apert’s Syndrome. Type III is called Chotzen’s Syndrome and Type V is called Pfeiffer’s Syndrome.
